We design & manufacture low voltage switchgear panels & motor control centres. Our in house design & good engineering practices in manufacturing combined together forms the ideal solution to the most demanding motor control applications throughout the industrial market

MOTOR CONTROL

A motor controller is a device or group of devices that serves to govern in some predetermined manner the performance of an electric motor. A motor controller might include a manual or automatic means for starting and stopping the motor, selecting forward or reverse rotation, selecting and regulating the speed, regulating or limiting the torque, and protecting against overloads and faults.Every electric motor has a controller. The motor controller will have differing features and complexity depending on the task that the motor will be performing

Features :

1.Easy operation

2.Sturdy construction

3.Extended performance

4.Indoor/Outdoor type

5.Control heavy starting currents.

DC Motors

This DC or direct current motor works on the principal, when a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, it experiences a torque and has a tendency to move. This is known as motoring action. If the direction of current in the wire is reversed, the direction of rotation also reverses. When magnetic field and electric field interact they produce a mechanical force, and based on that the working principle of dc motor established.

The field of DC motors can be:

1.Permanent magnet (Permanent magnet stator)

2.Electromagnets connected in series (Wound stator)

3.Shunt (Wound stator)

4.Compound (Wound stator).

AC Motors

An industrial type of AC motor with electrical terminal box at the top and output rotating shaft on the left. Such motors are widely used for pumps, blowers, conveyors and other industrial machinery.

Features:

1.Polyphase cage rotor

2. Polyphase wound rotor

3. Two-phase servo motor.
